ISS is a welcoming and affirming office for students of all sexual orientations and gender identities. ISS’ primary role is to provide advice, support, programming, and advocacy for F-1 and J-1 international students. While we most frequently see students in our office for immigration-related advice and guidance, we know you have other questions, concerns, passions, and interests. We are here to help you with multiple aspects of your transition and experience at UW-Madison.
LGBTQ international students bring unique strengths, perspectives, and life experiences to our campus. We value your presence and contributions. College is an exciting time to learn about yourself and others. The Gender and Sexuality Campus Center provides education, outreach, advocacy, and resources for UW-Madison student communities and their allies to improve campus climate and their daily intersectional experiences.
