✓ Informal English conversation practice
✓ Learn about the U.S. and countries around the world
✓ Make new friends!

PEACE is a free, non-credit English conversation and cultural exchange gathering that happens every other week in the International Community Center (ICC).

PEACE is informally facilitated by staff and student employees of International Student Services (ISS) and focuses on intercultural sharing and learning, cultural adjustment support, and community-building through English conversation practice.

PEACE is open to the full UW-Madison international community: international students, scholars, employees, their family members or dependents, and U.S. students as well!

PEACE is held in-person in the International Community Center (ICC) in the Pyle Center Suite 130. No registration is necessary to participate.

For the Fall 2025 semester, PEACE will be every other Tuesday evening from 4:30pm – 6:00pm.
