Erin is originally from Kimberly, Wisconsin but spent the last decade living in Northern California. She received her undergraduate degree in Spanish Language with a minor in World Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She studied abroad in Costa Rica during her time at Eau Claire and enjoyed it so much that she decided to return to work as an English teacher after graduation. For the last few years, Erin has worked as a naturalist on a whale watching boat in Monterey and is now pursuing a M.S. in Environmental Conservation at the UW-Madison Nelson Institute. She’s an avid traveler, scuba diver, and wildlife photographer. When in Madison, Erin enjoys birdwatching, hiking with her dog, Jett, and snuggling with her cat, Felix.
