Yuanru Tan (she/her/hers)

Hi everyone! My name is Yuanru Tan (she/her/hers). I am currently a 3^rd year Ph.D. student from the Epistemic Analytics lab at the Department of Educational Psychology. I am very excited to be a part of ISAB and get to work with my wonderful peers to contribute to the issues we care about in the international community at UW Madison. As a board member, I hope to raise a voice for international students who need help with having their needs to be acknowledged. I am originally from Sichuan, China. Since I moved to Madison in 2021, my favorite thing about Madison is its easily accessible natural scenery. It only takes a couple minutes of walking from my office to the terrace, the perfect place to catch up with friends in the company of the beautiful lake and breeze.

大家好！我叫谭远儒，目前是一个博士三年级学生，我在教育心理学系的认知分析实验室做我的博士研究。很开心能作为ISAB的一员和大家一起为我们关心的国际学生议题作出贡献。我希望我自己能为国际学生发声，尤其是为那些需要帮助的国际学生。我的家乡是中国四川，我2021年搬来了麦迪逊，特别喜欢这里的自然风光。几步路就能从我的办公室走到湖边，有美丽的湖景和微风作伴，是一个和朋友聊天叙旧的完美场所。
