Moldir Oskenbay (she/her/hers)

As an International Student Advisor, Moldir enjoys helping students across the UW community. Originally from Central Asia, Kazakhstan, her travels have taken her to Austria, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, South Korea, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and the United States, where she completed PhD research as a visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining ISS, Moldir instructed at the Central Eurasian Studies Summer Institute (CESSI), as well as tutored and assisted students for study-abroad in the Russian Flagship Program. In her free time, Moldir enjoys spending time with her family and friends across Wisconsin.
