Shiyu Liu (she/her/hers)

Hello everyone! My name is Shiyu Liu (Shirley) and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in chemical engineering with a certificate in computer sciences. My pronouns are she/her/hers and I can speak Mandarin and English. In addition to ISAB, I have been involved with Wisconsin Engineering Student Council, general chemistry teaching team in the Dept. of Chemistry, and student organization Badger SPILL. My favorite things about Madison include the lakes, the almost endless opportunities and resources, as well as the midwestern friendliness 🙂 As an international student, I understand and have worked through many hardships our community faces here in the states. On the team of ISAB, I hope to help advocate for our international fellows and make them feel more belonged. I would also love to learn more about our community!
