Yoann Choy (he/him/his)

Hi there! Hope you’re doing well! I’m Yoann Choy, I’m French and I use he/him pronouns. 

I am currently in my 2^nd year of study in undergraduate Electrical Engineering. I speak 5 languages that are French, English, Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese.  

The past year, I was working with university housing in the conference services department. I am also a research assistant at the department of surgery for cancer treatment. 

My main goal as an ISAB member is to try to provide international students with more help and guidance to make YOUR experience even more enriching in all the aspects you can think of. Furthermore, I believe that we can bring the international student community together to create a positive impact on the whole university community as well as the Madison area community and why not the whole world? 

Salut! J’espère que vous allez bien ! Je m’appelle Yoann Choy, je suis français et j’utilise les pronoms il/lui. Je suis actuellement en seconde année de bachelor en ingénierie électrique. Je parle 5 langues, le français (cela va de soi), l’anglais, l’espagnol, le mandarin et le cantonnais. 

L’année passée, j’ai pu travailler avec University Housing dans le service conférence. Je suis également un assistant de recherche dans le département de chirurgie pour le traitement des cancers. 

Mon objectif principal en tant que membre de l’ISAB est de tenter d’offrir aux élèves internationaux plus d’assistance et de guidage pour que VOTRE expérience soit encore plus enrichissante dans tous les aspects possibles. Additionnellement, je pense que l’on peut rapprocher la communauté internationale pour créer un impact positif dans toute la communauté universitaire mais également sur l’agglomération de Madison et pourquoi pas le monde entier ?
