Maryam is originally from Muscat, Oman. She is majoring in Neurobiology with an interest in Psychology at UW-Madison. On campus, she is an International Reach Ambassador through ISS, a member of the Undergraduate Neuroscience Society and the Student Leadership Program, and involved in the Wisconsin Experience Bus Trip 2026. As a member of ISAB, she hopes to use her own experience as a student from Oman to make sure international students feel like they truly belong at UW-Madison, not just that they arrived here.
