Hi everyone! I am a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Economics with a certificate in consulting. Having an Omani father and Spanish mother, I have lived in Oman and Spain for the majority of my life and speak Arabic, Spanish and English fluently. On campus, I spend a lot of time involved in the Muslim Students Association as a way to interact with my fellow Middle Eastern community, in addition to a few undergraduate Economics programs such as Lead@Econ. I have also picked up an interest in the field of Risk Management and participate in society events as well as case competitions on occasion. Whenever I’m not on campus, you’ll find me on the Near West Fields playing games of pick-up soccer, creating community and catching up with international peers from a multitude of different countries. As a member of ISAB, I hope to use my diverse perspective, coming from a family with a significant cultural blend, to help others leaving their home countries overcome the many challenges they may face as international students. Moreover, I seek to ensure through the ISAB that my fellow international students feel they have a safe space on campus and are offered a helping hand in their journey of adopting Madison as their newest home.
