Effective August 1, 2026, consular services throughout Africa will be consolidated to 20 regional hubs in 19 countries.

Students with previously scheduled visa appointments will likely receive a cancellation and notice to reschedule at one of the new hub locations. The consolidation will likely create delays and financial barriers to students throughout the continent who will now have to travel far distances for consular services.
