Position title: ISS Peer Advisor

I was born and raised in Kenya and I did my undergraduate degree at Mount Kenya University where I graduated with a Bachelors of Education (Arts) majoring in English/Literature. I came to the University of Wisconsin – Madison through the Fulbright cultural exchange program as a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant teaching Swahili at the African Cultural Exchange Department. I later continued with my education at the University of Wisconsin -Madison where I earned a Masters degree in Education Leadership and Policy Analysis. I am currently a PhD student and I speak 4 languages.
