SEVIS Outage during February 1-5, 2019

The Student & Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) will undergo maintenance beginning Friday, February 1st through Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Make sure that you have your valid I-20 or DS-2019 during this time.

Please note that ISS will not be able to issue any new I-20 or DS-2019 documents, travel signatures, social security letters, J-1 on-campus work permissions, ITIN requests, or verify your F or J nonimmigrant status during this time.

The federal government database has not been functioning properly since January 22nd. This has impeded the ability of ISS to perform daily tasks in a timely manner. We are hopeful that the scheduled maintenance will resolve the issues that we have been experiencing.
