Volunteer Opportunity Choices

Programs and Services
MFIS provides a variety of services and programs for International Community. Take a look at the Programs Section for a list of current programs, and help us in any programs that you feel interested.

MFIS Office Volunteers
Volunteers work several hours a month handling email, phone, and drop-in inquiries by international students, faculty, and families. Training on office procedures and computer systems is provided.

Orientation Week
MFIS volunteers work with the UW’s International Student Services Department to welcome international students during orientation weeks. Volunteers provide refreshments, meet and greet students, provide information about the Madison community, and MFIS programs and services.
