INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
Welcome to UW-MADISON
International Student Services and UW-Madison is a welcoming, supportive and accessible campus for students with disabilities. The role of ISS combines advising on immigration issues for F-1 and J-1 student visa holders with educational and social programming to help our students adjust to life in the US and life on campus.
We serve as advocates for our students with any issues they may face during their studies here. We’ve partnered with the McBurney Disability Services Center to enable our students to successfully complete their educational and personal goals at the university. The McBurney staff work diligently with students to provide accommodation services, to assist students in finding their strengths and advocating for resources students are in need of. Each and every student at UW is part of the campus community. Our international students enrich the campus with academic and cultural diversity. Together we strive to ensure our students have a positive educational experience in the USA.
